हृल्लेखाकुंशबीजाढ्यः प्रध्वस्तः स कथ्यते । सप्तार्णो बालमंत्रस्तु कुमारो वसुवर्णवान् ॥ ३९ ॥

hṛllekhākuṃśabījāḍhyaḥ pradhvastaḥ sa kathyate | saptārṇo bālamaṃtrastu kumāro vasuvarṇavān || 39 ||

‘ഹൃൽ’, ‘ലേഖാ’, ‘കുംശ’ എന്ന ബീജങ്ങളാൽ സമൃദ്ധമായ മന്ത്രം ‘പ്രധ്വസ്ത’ എന്നു പറയുന്നു. ഏഴ് അക്ഷരമുള്ള ‘ബാലമന്ത്രം’ ‘കുമാര’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അത് വസു-വർണ്ണ (എട്ട് വർണ്ണ) സമ്പന്നമാണ്।
