मनोर्यस्यादिमध्यांते भूबीजद्वयमुच्यते । स तु रुद्धो मनुज्ञेयो ह्यतिक्लेशेन सिद्धिदः ॥ २२ ॥

ആദി, മധ്യം, അന്ത്യം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ‘ഭൂ’ എന്ന രണ്ട് ബീജാക്ഷരങ്ങൾ പറയപ്പെടുന്ന മന്ത്രം—അത് നിയന്ത്രിച്ച് (രുദ്ധമായി) കാത്താൽ ‘മനു’ എന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്കണം; അതി ക്ലേശതപസ്സിലൂടെ സിദ്ധി നൽകുന്നു।
