Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that repeated, disciplined observance of a prescribed vrata intensifies spiritual merit, presenting the vow’s fruit as comparable to a major Vedic sacrifice and even doubled when done five times.
Though stated in ritual terms, it supports bhakti-oriented discipline by emphasizing steady, repeated observance; such consistency is treated as spiritually potent, like a great yajña, when performed with a noble intention.
It reflects ritual science (Kalpa) through the idea of vrata-vidhi and phala-śruti, and references Śrauta tradition by comparing the outcome to the Aṅgiṣṭoma Soma sacrifice.
