ब्राह्मणत्वं ब्राह्मणता भावे ब्राह्मण्यमेव च । गोमान्धनी च धनवानस्त्यर्थे प्रमितौ कियान् ॥ ५४ ॥
brāhmaṇatvaṃ brāhmaṇatā bhāve brāhmaṇyameva ca | gomāndhanī ca dhanavānastyarthe pramitau kiyān || 54 ||
‘ബ്രാഹ്മണത്വം’, ‘ബ്രാഹ്മണത’, ‘ബ്രാഹ്മണ്യം’—ഇവയെല്ലാം ഒരേ ഭാവം/അവസ്ഥയെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെ ‘ഗോമാൻ’, ‘ധാനവാൻ/ധനവാൻ’, ‘ധനവാൻ’—ഇവയും ഒരേ അർത്ഥത്തിൽ പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നു; അപ്പോൾ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച അളവിൽ എത്ര വ്യത്യാസം?
