कापिलं सांख्यमप्यत्र तृतीयोऽयमुदाहृतः । सत्याश्चरितमादौ तु ध्रुवस्य चरितं ततः ॥ ८ ॥
kāpilaṃ sāṃkhyamapyatra tṛtīyo'yamudāhṛtaḥ | satyāścaritamādau tu dhruvasya caritaṃ tataḥ || 8 ||
ഇവിടെ കപിലമുനിയുടെ സാംഖ്യവും നിരൂപിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു—ഇത് മൂന്നാമത്തെ വിഷയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു. ആദ്യം സത്യന്റെ അത്ഭുതചരിതം, തുടർന്ന് ധ്രുവന്റെ ചരിതം പറയുന്നു॥
