The Description of the Index (Anukramaṇikā) of the Padma Purāṇa
इत्येतदुत्तरं खण्डं पंचमं सर्वपुण्यदम् । पंचखंडयुतं पाद्मं यः श्रृणोति नरोत्तमः ॥ ३६ ॥
ityetaduttaraṃ khaṇḍaṃ paṃcamaṃ sarvapuṇyadam | paṃcakhaṃḍayutaṃ pādmaṃ yaḥ śrṛṇoti narottamaḥ || 36 ||
ഇങ്ങനെ ഇത് പഞ്ചമമായ ഉത്തരഖണ്ഡം, സർവ്വപുണ്യദായകം. അഞ്ചു ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ പദ്മപുരാണം ശ്രവിക്കുന്നവൻ നരോത്തമൻ ആകുന്നു।
