The Description of the Caturdaśī Vrata Observed throughout the Twelve Months
शय्यां सोपस्करां धेनुं प्रतिमां च द्विजोत्तम । प्रदद्याद्गुरवे भक्त्या द्विजानन्यांश्चतुर्दश ॥ ३१ ॥
śayyāṃ sopaskarāṃ dhenuṃ pratimāṃ ca dvijottama | pradadyādgurave bhaktyā dvijānanyāṃścaturdaśa || 31 ||
ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ! ഭക്തിയോടെ ഗുരുവിന് ഉപകരണങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ ശയ്യ, ധേനു, പ്രതിമ എന്നിവ ദാനം ചെയ്യണം; കൂടാതെ മറ്റൊരു പതിനാലു ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കും ദാനം നൽകണം.
