Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 77

The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months

नमस्कृत्य जगन्नाथं प्रारंभे धनदव्रतम् । महाराजं यक्षपतिं गंधाद्यैरुपचारकैः ॥ ७६ ॥

namaskṛtya jagannāthaṃ prāraṃbhe dhanadavratam | mahārājaṃ yakṣapatiṃ gaṃdhādyairupacārakaiḥ || 76 ||

ആരംഭത്തിൽ ജഗന്നാഥനോട് നമസ്കരിച്ചു ധനദവ്രതം ആരംഭിക്കണം. തുടർന്ന് യക്ഷപതി മഹാരാജ കുബേരനെ ഗന്ധാനുലേപനാദി ഉപചാരങ്ങളാൽ പൂജിക്കണം.
