Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that worship is completed not only by offering upacāras (services) but also by tarpaṇa—ritually ‘satisfying’ the intended recipients through sanctified water offerings, reflecting reverence, continuity of dharma, and purity of intention.
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined service: after honoring the deity with offerings, the devotee follows with prescribed tarpaṇa, showing devotion through careful adherence to sacred procedure rather than mere sentiment.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is highlighted: the verse specifies materials (tila-water, darbha) and the count (three times for each), reflecting the technical precision typical of Vedic ritual manuals.
