Sanatkumara (addressing Narada in the dialogue frame)
Vrata: none (continuation of Devāṅgirasa-focused observance)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights dharma expressed through respectful hospitality—feeding qualified brāhmaṇas with proper food—presented alongside a remembered list of notable figures, reinforcing that righteous conduct is preserved and praised in Purāṇic summaries.
While not directly describing a bhakti practice like japa or pūjā, it supports bhakti’s ethical foundation: service (sevā) and honoring the learned, which are traditionally treated as pleasing to Bhagavān and supportive of devotional life.
Ritual procedure and dharmic etiquette are implied—especially the practice of vipra-bhojana as part of rites—aligning with Kalpa (Vedāṅga dealing with ritual rules and conduct).
