Narada (instructional narration within the Adhyaya’s ritual/dharma context)
Vrata: Dūrvāṣṭamī (contextual)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames post-ritual or post-feasting conduct as dharma: completing the act with proper dakṣiṇā and auspicious offerings to brāhmaṇas, which sanctifies the meal and turns enjoyment into merit (puṇya) through dāna and respect.
While not directly naming Viṣṇu-bhakti, it supports bhakti-oriented life by teaching humility, gratitude, and service to the learned—qualities that purify the heart and align household actions with devotional discipline.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) in practice: the proper completion of a rite or hospitality through dakṣiṇā and suitable offerings (sweet, fragrant fruits), emphasizing correct ceremonial closure and etiquette.
