Narada (teaching in dialogue, traditionally to Sanatkumara and the Kumaras)
Vrata: Saptamī-vrata (Sun-worship on Saptamī)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It elevates regular Sun-worship on Saptamī as a universally applicable monthly observance, presenting Surya-upāsanā as a complete and sufficient means for attaining desired righteous aims.
By prescribing consistent ārādhana (devotional worship) of Bhāskara on a recurring sacred tithi, it frames devotion as disciplined, periodic practice that yields both inner and outer fruits.
It relies on calendrical/tithi-based timing (Jyotiṣa/Vedic astrology) by specifying Saptamī across all months as the proper ritual occasion for Surya worship.
