Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 46

The exposition of the Pañcamī vow to be observed in the twelve months

अनुज्ञया गुरोः पश्चान्मूर्तीर्विप्रेषु चार्पयेत् । भोजयित्वा तु तान्भक्त्या प्रणिपत्य विसर्जयेत् ॥ ४६ ॥

anujñayā guroḥ paścānmūrtīrvipreṣu cārpayet | bhojayitvā tu tānbhaktyā praṇipatya visarjayet || 46 ||

ഗുരുവിന്റെ അനുവാദം ലഭിച്ച ശേഷം വിപ്രന്മാർക്ക് മൂർത്തികൾ സമർപ്പിക്കണം; അവരെ ഭക്തിയോടെ ഭോജനിപ്പിച്ച്, നമസ്കരിച്ചു ആദരത്തോടെ യാത്രയാക്കണം।
