Narada (teaching in a ritual-instruction context within Book 1.4)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents devotion (bhakti) expressed through disciplined worship—completing ṣoḍaśopacāra pūjā, offering arghya, and sealing the rite with homa—showing that inner reverence is supported by orderly sacred action.
Bhakti here is not only emotion but attentive service: honoring the deity with the sixteen upacāras, making a respectful arghya offering, and dedicating the results through homa, integrating love with ritual purity and intention.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) through the prescribed sequence of pūjā → arghya → homa and the correct use of offering materials like tila, vrīhi, and yava, which are standard in Vedic sacrificial practice.
