Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: Dvitīyā-vrata (generic tithi-observance; specific name not given)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It stresses fidelity to vidhi (ritual injunction): the sanctity of a tithi-based observance does not depend on bright or dark fortnight, so the same prescribed discipline should be maintained in both.
By standardizing practice across both pakṣas, it supports steady, rule-guided worship—helping devotees sustain regular vrata and pūjā without selective observance.
Kalā/astronomical time-reckoning used in ritual—specifically tithi (Dvitīyā) and pakṣa (Śukla/Kṛṣṇa)—a core component of correct vrata timing and procedure.
