It states that Purāṇa-benefit (purāṇa-phala) comes not merely from hearing or reading once, but from continual cultivation of the core teaching—making Purāṇic dharma a lived discipline.
By emphasizing nitya-śīlana (constant practice), it aligns with Bhakti as daily remembrance, hearing, and conduct shaped by sacred narratives—devotion becomes steady practice rather than occasional inspiration.
The verse highlights the practical discipline of śīlana (systematic practice/recitation and application). While not naming a Vedāṅga explicitly, it supports the Vedāṅga spirit of regular study and correct application of śāstra in conduct.
