प्रक्रियाख्योऽनुषंगाख्य उपोद्घातस्तृतीयकः । चतुर्थ उपसंहारः पादाश्चत्वार एव हि ॥ २ ॥
prakriyākhyo'nuṣaṃgākhya upodghātastṛtīyakaḥ | caturtha upasaṃhāraḥ pādāścatvāra eva hi || 2 ||
ആദ്യ പാദം ‘പ്രക്രിയ’ എന്നും, രണ്ടാം ‘അനുഷംഗ’ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. മൂന്നാം ‘ഉപോദ്ഘാതം’, നാലാം ‘ഉപസംഹാരം’—ഇങ്ങനെ പാദങ്ങൾ നാലെണ്ണം തന്നേ.
