यत्र तार्क्ष्येण संपृष्टो भगवानाह वाडवाः । धर्मप्रकटनं पूर्वं योगिनां गतिकारणम् ॥ २१ ॥

yatra tārkṣyeṇa saṃpṛṣṭo bhagavānāha vāḍavāḥ | dharmaprakaṭanaṃ pūrvaṃ yogināṃ gatikāraṇam || 21 ||

അവിടെ താർക്ഷ്യൻ (ഗരുഡൻ) ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഭഗവാൻ വാഡവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ആദ്യം ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം; അതുതന്നെ യോഗികളുടെ പരമഗതിക്കു കാരണം.
