Suta (narrating the Anukramanika-style contents of the Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a Narada Purana-style catalogue where worldly well-being (Ayurvedic diagnosis and therapy) is placed alongside sacred protective recitations—showing that dharmic life includes both practical health-knowledge and Vishnu-centered spiritual safeguards.
Bhakti is implied through reliance on Viṣṇu’s kavaca and Garuḍa-related protection: the devotee seeks refuge in Vishnu through mantra and remembrance, treating divine shelter as the highest protection beyond mere medicine.
It highlights applied śāstric knowledge—Ayurveda (nidāna and cikitsā), dravya-guṇa (properties of substances), and mantra-based protective rites (kavaca, gāruḍa), which function as practical ritual-technical disciplines within Purāṇic tradition.
