നാനാ കഥാപ്രസംഗങ്ങളുടെ നെയ്ത്തിലൂടെ അവ മനുഷ്യർക്കു സദ്ഗതി നൽകുന്നവയാകുന്നു. ആ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ മുൻ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പുരാണത്തിന്റെ പുരാതന ഉപക്രമം (ആമുഖരൂപം) പ്രതിപാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
