FAQs

It points to the Rāsa-līlā as a pinnacle of devotional theology—divine love (bhakti) portrayed through Krishna’s intimate, autumnal pastime with the Gopīs, and it signals that certain aspects are treated as rahasya (esoteric) teachings.

By highlighting the Gopīs’ and Rādhā’s relationship with Krishna, the verse emphasizes loving devotion expressed as total-hearted participation in the Lord’s līlā, where intimacy is not ordinary romance but a model of single-minded surrender and divine-centered love.

No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the only practical pointer is seasonal timing—“śāradī” (autumnal)—which can align with calendrical observance (jyotiṣa-based seasonality) when traditions contextualize līlā recitations and vrata-related kathā listening.
