ākarṇākṛṣṭacāpastu jambhaḥ krodhapariplutaḥ vivyādha dhanadaṃ tīkṣṇaiḥ śarairvakṣasi dānavaḥ //

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ദാനവൻ ജംഭൻ—ധനുസ്സ് ചെവിവരെ വലിച്ച്, ക്രോധത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി—മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അമ്പുകളാൽ ധനദൻ (കുബേരൻ)ന്റെ വക്ഷസ്ഥലം കുത്തിവെച്ചു.
