इत्युक्तः स्वात्मभूर्देवः सुरैर्दैत्यविचेष्टितम् सुरानुवाच भगवांस् ततः स्मितमुखाम्बुजः //

Transliteration

ityuktaḥ svātmabhūrdevaḥ surairdaityaviceṣṭitam surānuvāca bhagavāṃs tataḥ smitamukhāmbujaḥ //

Translation

ദേവന്മാർ ദൈത്യരുടെ ആക്രമണാഭിപ്രായങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയിച്ചപ്പോൾ, സ്വയംഭൂവായ ദേവൻ ബ്രഹ്മാവ്—മന്ദസ്മിതം വിരിയുന്ന പദ്മമുഖമുള്ള ഭഗവാൻ—അപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാരോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു।
