Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 183

ब्रह्मादिस्थावरान्तो ऽयं संसारो यः प्रकीर्तितः स जन्ममृत्युदुःखार्तो ह्य् अवशः परिवर्तते //

brahmādisthāvarānto 'yaṃ saṃsāro yaḥ prakīrtitaḥ sa janmamṛtyuduḥkhārto hy avaśaḥ parivartate //

ബ്രഹ്മ മുതൽ സ്ഥാവരാന്തം വരെ വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സംസാരചക്രം എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്; അത് ജനനമരണദുഃഖത്തിൽ പീഡിതമായി നിർബന്ധിതനായി ചുറ്റിത്തിരിയുന്നു.
