हुत्वा च तांश्चरून्सम्यक् ततो होमं समाचरेत् आकृष्णेति च सूर्याय होमः कार्यो द्विजन्मना //
hutvā ca tāṃścarūnsamyak tato homaṃ samācaret ākṛṣṇeti ca sūryāya homaḥ kāryo dvijanmanā //
ആ ചരുക്കൾ യഥാവിധി അഗ്നിയിൽ ഹുതിയാക്കി ശേഷം ഹോമം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കണം; ദ്വിജൻ സൂര്യനു ‘ആകൃഷ്ണ…’ എന്നാരംഭമന്ത്രം ചൊല്ലി ഹുതി ചെയ്യണം।
