Adhyaya 92 — Devi’s Assurance of Protection and the Fruits of Reciting the Devi Mahatmyam
sarvabādhāvinirmṛkto dhanadhānyasamanvitaḥ / manuṣyo matprasādena bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ

Prosperity is framed not merely as acquisition but as a consequence of divine alignment—removal of ‘bādhā’ (hindrances) precedes abundance, suggesting that spiritual well-being and worldly well-being are integrated.
This is outside the genealogical/cosmic historiography; it functions as a devotional assurance (phalaśruti) appended to a theological narrative.
‘Wealth and grain’ can be read as outer and inner nourishment—resources and vitality—arising when obstructive forces (internal vṛttis or external calamities) are pacified by śakti.
