एवं स महिषो नाम ससैन्यः ससुहृद्गणः ।

त्रैलोक्यं मोहयित्वा तु तया देव्याः विनाशितः ॥

ഇങ്ങനെ ത്രിലോകങ്ങളെ മോഹിപ്പിച്ച ‘മഹിഷ’ എന്നവൻ ദേവിയാൽ തന്റെ സൈന്യത്തോടും സഹായി സംഘങ്ങളോടും കൂടി സംഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു।
