Sanskrit

ततो मृगयाव्याजेन हृतस्वाम्यः स भूपतिः ।

एकाकी हयमारुह्य जगाम गहनं वनम् ॥

Transliteration

tato mṛgayā-vyājena hṛta-svāmyas sa bhūpatiḥ |

ekākī hayam āruhya jagāma gahanaṃ vanam ||

Translation

പിന്നീട് നായാട്ടിന്റെ വ്യാജേന രാജാധികാരം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ആ രാജാവ് കുതിരപ്പുറത്തേറി തനിയെ കൊടുംകാട്ടിലേക്ക് പോയി.
