उपकारः कृतो वीर ! भवता यो ममाधुना ।

तेनास्म्याकृष्टहृदया यद्ब्रवीमि शृणुष्व तत् ॥

upakāraḥ kṛto vīra! bhavatā yo mamādhunā | tenāsmy ākṛṣṭa-hṛdayā yad bravīmi śṛṇuṣva tat ||

ഹേ വീരാ, നീ ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ എനിക്കായി ചെയ്ത കരുണാകർമ്മം മൂലം എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിനക്കു വശമായി. അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ പറയാനിരിക്കുന്നതു കേൾക്കുക.
