Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
ब्राह्मण उवाच भूप ! सारस्वतीमिष्टिं करोमि वचनात्तव ।
पत्नी तवेयमानृण्यं यातु तद्वाक्प्रवर्तनात् ॥
brāhmaṇa uvāca bhūpa! sārasvatīm iṣṭiṃ karomi vacanāt tava | patnī taveyam ānṛṇyaṃ yātu tadvākpravartanāt ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“രാജാവേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം ഞാൻ സരസ്വതീ-ഇഷ്ടി നടത്തും. ദേവിയുടെ വാക്ക് പ്രവഹിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ഭാര്യ ഋണമുക്തയാകട്ടെ.”
