jīvanty atra narā brahman kṛta-tretādike kramāt / devakūṭasya pūrvasya śailendrasya mahātmanaḥ

ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ! ഇവിടെ മനുഷ്യർ കൃത, ത്രേതാ മുതലായ യുഗക്രമപ്രകാരം ജീവിക്കുന്നു. ഈ പ്രദേശം മഹാപർവതരാജൻ ദേവകൂടത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്താണ്.
