कथं स संस्थितो देवः कूर्मरूपी जनार्दनः ।
शुभाशुभं मनुष्याणां व्यज्यते च ततः कथम् ।
यथामुखं यथापादन्तस्य तद्ब्रूह्यशेषतः ॥
kathaṃ sa saṃsthito devaḥ kūrmarūpī janārdanaḥ | śubhāśubhaṃ manuṣyāṇāṃ vyajyate ca tataḥ katham | yathāmukhaṃ yathāpādāntasya tad brūhyaśeṣataḥ ||
ആ ഭഗവാൻ ജനാർദനൻ കൂർമരൂപത്തിൽ എങ്ങനെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിതനായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു? അതിൽ നിന്നു മനുഷ്യർക്കുള്ള ശുഭവും അശുഭവും ആയ ഫലങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു? അവന്റെ മുഖദിശാനുസരിച്ചും പാദവ്യാപ്തിയനുസരിച്ചും എല്ലാം സമഗ്രമായി വിശദീകരിക്കൂ।
