दन्ताकृष्टेरभूत् कन्या विजल्पा कलहा तथा । अवज्ञानृतदुष्टोक्तिर्विजल्पा तत्प्रशान्तये ॥

dantākṛṣṭer abhūt kanyā vijalpā kalahā tathā | avajñānṛtaduṣṭoktīr vijalpā tatpraśāntaye ||

Translation

ദന്താകൃഷ്ടി എന്ന ദോഷത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ‘വിജൽപാ’യും ‘കലഹാ’യും എന്ന കന്യകൾ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു. അവജ്ഞ, അസത്യം, ദുഷ്ടവാക്ക്—ഇവയാണ് വിജൽപയുടെ ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ; അതിന്റെ ശാന്തിവിധി ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു.
