Adhyaya 36 — Madalasa’s Final Counsel and the Renunciation of King Ritadhvaja
पुत्रांश्चोत्पादयामास यज्ञैश्चाप्ययजद्विभुः ।
पितुश्च सर्वकालेषु चकाराज्ञानुपालनम् ॥
putrāṃś cotpādayāmāsa yajñaiś cāpy ayajad vibhuḥ /
pituś ca sarvakāleṣu cakārājñānupālanam
അവൻ പുത്രന്മാരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യജ്ഞങ്ങളും നടത്തി; കൂടാതെ എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും പിതാവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞകൾ യഥാവിധി അനുസരിച്ചു.

The ideal householder sustains lineage (progeny), society (yajña), and family order (obedience and service to elders), showing dharma as relational responsibility.
