Adhyaya 26 — Madālasa Names Alarka and Reorients Him Toward Kshatriya Duty
मदालसोवाच मयाज्ञा भवतः कार्याः महाराज ! यथात्थ माम् ।
तथा नाम करिष्यामि चतुर्थस्य सुतस्य ते ॥

മദാലസ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാരാജാവേ! നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആജ്ഞ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നത് എന്റെ കടമയാണ്. അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ നാലാമത്തെ പുത്രന് ഞാൻ നാമം നൽകും।
