रसातले च तौ रात्रिं विना तेन महात्मना ।

निश्वासपरमौ नीत्वा जग्मतुस्तं दिने दिने ॥

rasātale ca tau rātriṃ vinā tena mahātmanā |

niśvāsa-paramau nītvā jagmatus taṃ dine dine ||

രസാതലത്തിൽ ആ മഹാത്മാവില്ലാതെ അവർ രാത്രി കഴിച്ചു; നിശ്വാസങ്ങൾ മാത്രമായി ആ രാത്രി കടന്നു. പിന്നെ അവർ ദിനംപ്രതി അവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു പോകുകയായിരുന്നു।
