तत्तापतप्ता सर्वाशा प्रोद्यदिन्दुसमप्रभा ।

विभात्यतिमहारौद्रा दर्शनस्पर्शनादिषु ॥

tattāpataptā sarvāśā prodyad-indu-samaprabhā /

vibhāty ati-mahā-raudrā darśana-sparśanādiṣu

ആ ചൂടാൽ എല്ലാടവും ചുട്ടുപൊള്ളിയതു ഉദയചന്ദ്രന്റെ പ്രഭപോലെ ദീപ്തമാകുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ദർശനം, സ്പർശം മുതലായവയിൽ അത്യന്തം ഭീകരമാണ്.
