विराटसभायां पाण्डवानां प्रवेशः — Arjuna’s Encomium of Yudhiṣṭhira in Virāṭa’s Court
निहत्य नागं तु शरेण तेन वज्रोपमेनाद्रिवराम्बुदा भम् । तथाविधेनैव शरेण पार्थो दुर्योधनं वक्षसि निर्बिभेद,उस वज्रसदृश बाणद्धारा पर्वत तथा मेघोंकी घटाके समान प्रतीत होनेवाले गजराजको मारकर पार्थने वैसे ही दूसरे बाणसे दुर्योधनकी छाती छेद डाली
nihatya nāgaṃ tu śareṇa tena vajropamenādrivarāmbudābham | tathāvidhenaiva śareṇa pārtho duryodhanaṃ vakṣasi nirbibheda ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വജ്രസമമായ ദൃഢതയുള്ളതും, പർവതവും ഘനമേഘസമൂഹവും പോലെ ഭാസിക്കുന്നതുമായ ആ ഗജരാജനെ ആ ശരത്തോടെ വധിച്ച ശേഷം, പാർത്ഥൻ അതേവിധമുള്ള മറ്റൊരു ശരത്തോടെ ദുര്യോധനന്റെ വക്ഷസ്ഥലം ഭേദിച്ചു.
