Adhyāya 61: Saṃmohana-astra and the Kuru Withdrawal (संमोहनास्त्रं तथा कुरुनिवृत्तिः)
धार्तराष्ट्रवनं घोर नरसिंहाभिरक्षितम् । अहमुत्पाटयिष्यामि वैराटे व्येतु ते भयम्,“वीर मानवरूपी सिंहोंसे सुरक्षित इस भयंकर कौरववनको मैं अकेला ही उजाड़ डालूँगा, अत: विराटकुमार! तुम्हारा भय दूर हो जाना चाहिये”
dhārtarāṣṭravaṇaṃ ghoraṃ narasiṃhābhirakṣitam | ahamutpāṭayiṣyāmi vairāṭe vyetu te bhayam ||
നരസിംഹസദൃശരായ വീരന്മാർ കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന ധാർത്തരാഷ്ട്രരുടെ ഈ ഭീകരവനം ഞാൻ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കുതന്നെ വേരോടെ പിഴുതെറിയും. അതിനാൽ, ഓ വിരാടകുമാരാ, നിന്റെ ഭയം അകന്നുപോകട്ടെ.
