Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly
चतुर्भुजे चतुर्वक्त्रे पीनश्रोणिपयोधरे । मयूरपिच्छवलये केयूराजड़रदधारिणि । भासि देवि यथा पद्मा नारायणपरिग्रह:
caturbhuje caturvaktre pīnaśroṇipayodhare | mayūrapicchavalaye keyūrājaṭaraddhāriṇi | bhāsi devi yathā padmā nārāyaṇaparigrahaḥ ||
ഹേ ദേവീ, നീ ചതുര്ഭുജയും ചതുര്വക്ത്രയും; പുഷ്ടമായ ശ्रोണി-പയോധരങ്ങളുള്ളവളും. മയൂരപിച്ഛവലയാൽ അലങ്കൃതയും, കേയൂരങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ചവളും, ജടാധാരിണിയുമായ നീ—നാരായണന്റെ ആലിംഗനത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന പദ്മംപോലെ ദീപ്തമാകുന്നു.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
