Educational Q&A

The verse links worldly aims—prosperity, growth, and victory—to disciplined sacred action. It suggests that legitimate success should be pursued through dharmic means: reverence for ritual order, right intention, and restraint, rather than through mere ambition or violence.

The narrator describes a ritual moment: the sacred fires are kindled and oblations are offered with Vedic mantras, explicitly for the welfare and advancement of those concerned—prosperity, increase, acquisition of rule, and victory.
