Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)
असूयन्ति हि राजानो नराननृतवादिन: । तथैव चावमन्यन्ते नरान् पण्डितमानिन:,क्योंकि झूठ बोलनेवाले मनुष्योंसे राजालोग द्वेष मान लेते हैं। इसी तरह जो लोग अपनेको पण्डित मानते हैं, उनका भी राजा तिरस्कार करते हैं
asūyanti hi rājāno narān anṛtavādinaḥ | tathaiva cāvamanyante narān paṇḍitamāninaḥ ||
രാജാക്കന്മാർ അസത്യം പറയുന്ന മനുഷ്യരെ വെറുക്കുന്നു; അതുപോലെ തന്നെ തങ്ങളെ പണ്ഡിതരെന്ന് കരുതി വെറും ഭാവം കാട്ടുന്നവരെയും അവഹേളിക്കുന്നു.
