कृपवाक्यं तथा नीत्युपदेशः

Kṛpa’s Counsel and a Discourse on Statecraft

प्रियवादी सदा दान्तो भव्य: सत्यपरो जन: । हृष्ट: पुष्ट: शुचिर्दक्षो यत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर:,“जहाँ राजा युधिष्ठिर होंगे, वहाँके मनुष्य सदा प्रिय वचन बोलनेवाले, जितेन्द्रिय, कल्याणभागी, सत्यपरायण, हृष्ट-पुष्ट, पवित्र और कार्यकुशल होंगे

priyavādī sadā dānto bhavyaḥ satyaparo janaḥ | hṛṣṭaḥ puṣṭaḥ śucir dakṣo yatra rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ ഉള്ളിടത്ത് ജനങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും പ്രിയവാക്യം പറയുന്നവരും ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമമുള്ളവരും കല്യാണഭാഗികളുമായും സത്യനിഷ്ഠരുമായും; ഹർഷിതരും പുഷ്ടരുമായും ശുചികളായും കാര്യദക്ഷരായും മാറുന്നു।
