दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
दमयन्ती तथा वाग्भिरभिनन्द्य कृताज्जलि: । तौ परस्परत: प्रीतौ दृष्टवा त्वग्निपुरोगमान्
damayantī tathā vāgbhir abhinandya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tau parasparataḥ prītau dṛṣṭvā tv agnipurogamān ||
ദമയന്തി കൈകൂപ്പി മധുരവചനങ്ങളാൽ അവരെ അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്തു. അവർ ഇരുവരും പരസ്പരം സന്തുഷ്ടരായിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, അഗ്നിയെ മുൻപാക്കി മുന്നേറുന്ന ദേവഗണങ്ങളിലേക്കു അവൾ ദൃഷ്ടി തിരിച്ചു.
