दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
तानीह तिष्ठतां भूमावेकस्थापि न लक्षये । सा विनिश्ित्य बहुधा विचार्य च पुन: पुनः:
tānīha tiṣṭhatāṃ bhūmāv ekasthāpi na lakṣaye | sā viniścitya bahudhā vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ ||
“ഇവർ ഇവിടെ നിലത്ത് നിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, (ദേവലക്ഷണങ്ങളിൽ) ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഞാൻ വ്യക്തമായി കാണുന്നില്ല. അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ച്, പലവിധം വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആലോചിച്ചു.”
