उपेत्य चाश्रमं वीरा: सर्व एव गतकक्‍्लमा: । आरणेयं ददुस्तस्मै ब्राह्णाय तपस्विने

Transliteration

upetya cāśramaṃ vīrāḥ sarva eva gataklamāḥ | āraṇeyaṃ dadus tasmai brāhmaṇāya tapasvine ||

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വീരന്മാർ ആശ്രമത്തിലെത്തിയപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും ക്ഷീണം വിട്ടുമാറി. പിന്നെ അവർ തപസ്വിയായ ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണന് ധർമ്മാനുസൃതമായ യോജ്യദാനമായി ‘ആരണേയ’യെ സമർപ്പിച്ചു.
