सूतस्त्वधिरथ: पुत्र विवृद्धं समयेन तम् । दृष्टवा प्रस्थापयामास पुरं वारणसाह्दयम्,अधिरथ सूतने अपने पुत्रको बड़ा हुआ देख उसे यथासमय हस्तिनापुर भेज दिया
sūtastv adhirathaḥ putra vivṛddhaṃ samayena tam | dṛṣṭvā prasthāpayāmāsa puraṃ vāraṇasāhdayam ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— സൂതനായ അധിരഥൻ തന്റെ പുത്രൻ സമയാനുസൃതമായി വളർന്നതായി കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, അവനെ നഗരത്തിലേക്ക്—ഹസ്തിനാപുരത്തിലേക്ക്—അയച്ചു.
