त्वया तु संगमो देव यदि स्याद् विधिवर्जित: । मन्निमित्तं कुलस्यास्य लोके कीर्ति्निशेत् ततः,भगवन! यदि आपके साथ मेरा वेदोक्त विधिके विपरीत समागम हो तो मेरे ही कारण जगत्में इस कुलकी कीर्ति नष्ट हो जायगी
tvayā tu saṅgamo deva yadi syād vidhivarjitaḥ | mannimittaṃ kulasyāsya loke kīrtiḥ naśyet tataḥ ||
ദേവാ! അങ്ങയുമായുള്ള എന്റെ സംഗമം വേദോക്തവിധിക്ക് വിരുദ്ധമായി സംഭവിച്ചാൽ, എന്റെ കാരണത്താൽ ഈ കുലത്തിന്റെ കീർത്തി ലോകത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും.
