युवर्चा उवाच यथास्य भार्या सावित्री तपसा च दमेन च | आचारेण च संयुक्ता तथा जीवति सत्यवान्‌,सुवर्चा बोले--सत्यवान्‌की पत्नी सावित्री जैसी तपस्या, इन्द्रियसंयम तथा सदाचारसे संयुक्त है, उसे देखते हुए मैं कह सकता हूँ कि सत्यवान्‌ जीवित है

yuvārcā uvāca | yathāsya bhāryā sāvitrī tapasā ca damena ca | ācāreṇa ca saṃyuktā tathā jīvati satyavān |

യുവാർച പറഞ്ഞു—അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ സാവിത്രി തപസ്സും ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമനവും സദാചാരവും കൊണ്ട് സമ്പന്നയായതിനാൽ, ഞാൻ ഉറപ്പോടെ പറയുന്നു—സത്യവാൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
