तमापततन्तं संक्रुद्धं पुनरेव युयुत्सया । अभिदुद्राव सौमित्रिर्विभीषणमते स्थित:,उसे क्रोधमें भरकर पुनः युद्धकी इच्छासे आते देख विभीषणकी सम्मतिसे लक्ष्मणने उसपर धावा किया
tam āpatatantaṃ saṃkruddhaṃ punar eva yuyutsayā | abhidudrāva saumitrir vibhīṣaṇamate sthitaḥ ||
മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ ക്രോധംകൊണ്ട് ജ്വലിച്ച് വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധാഗ്രഹത്തോടെ പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, വിഭീഷണന്റെ ഉപദേശപ്രകാരം നിലകൊണ്ട സൗമിത്രി (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ) അവന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു.
